Why watch the middle teams of the EPL?

I have just started watching the English Premiere League a few weeks ago and I do not understand the point of watching two teams that have no shot of winning and are not going to finish in the bottom three play. I mean they have nothing to play for to me and pretty much the only teams you need to watch are the top 4 teams. Could somebody help me out Thanks.
