I have this family dilemma that needs solving. I have 2 older sisters. I'm 20, Marilyn is 26 and Sarah is 32. My parents divorced when I was 3. They were married for 13 years. I live with my mom. My dad died in Colorado 4 years ago. Now here's the dilemma: My sister Marilyn has ADHD. My mom has bipolar, schizophrenia, and manic- depression. Marilyn was known to make up lots of stories in her youth. She still does. My mom and dad were in an abusive relationship. They would hit each other and my sisters. After my parents divorced, my mom had a nervous breakdown and she couldn't take care of my sisters anymore. I stayed with my mom. Marilyn was in and out of foster homes and she's been in the Training School twice. She's also been in trouble with DCYF. When Marilyn was 16, she told her case manager that my dad had molested her when she was 8- 9 years old. My dad was arrested and he had to take a polygraph "lie detector" test. The first time he took it, he failed. It said that he had, in fact, molested my sister. He took it a second time. He ped and it said that he didn't molest Marilyn. My mom never noticed anything when they were living together. I never had the chance to ask him directly, and I don't trust my sister since she's always making up stories to cover herself. So I have to put my trust in the polygraph. But which polygraph should I believe? The one that ped or the one that failed? And I thought that those things were foolproof. And as sick as it sounds, wouldn't my sister Sarah have been a "better" choice? Not only was she 13-14 at the time, she's also adopted. Sarah is my half sister on my mother's side, so that means my dad adopted her. And that usually fits the profile of a parental molester. I don't know who or what to believe. This has been plagueging me for so long and I just want a straight factfilled answer. So, please give me your opinions on this matter and put my thoughts to rest. Thank you.

25 weeks pregnant and feeling VERY unattractive. Husband isn't helping much. Any advice?

I've put on quite a bit of weight since my pregnancy (40 pounds to be exact). Most of it is in my belly but I also have a lot in my hips (can anyone say saddlebags??). Anyways, I'm getting to the point where nothing fits right anymore, I'm getting a lot of cellulite, my complexion is just yucky and I just feel so fat and unattractive. Before I was pregnant my husband was all over me all the time. He would hug on me and call me beautiful and was in the mood 24/7. Now he rarely wants , he just wants oral (sorry if tmi). And I like to walk around in an oversized shirt and underwear when I'm at home (because it is what is comfortable right now) and I just catch him staring at me sometimes in disgust. I call him on it and say "Yeah, I know I'm fat and unattractive right now." And he just smiles and goes on about his business. He doesn't reure me that I'm not or even try to lie about it. I've told him a few times about how I feel and he said that he isn't acting differently but he is. And besides, I don't want to have to force a compliment out of him. Any advice on how I go about feeling better? Anyone else experienced this with their partner? I'm just so upset right now. :(

She has an order of deportation and will likely have to be out of the States for five years (or 10 years if she was deported in absentia). How can I obtain a pport if the birth years on his state issued DL and Birth certificate don't match?

It's kind of a weird situation that I can't get any straight answers about. My husband went and got his DL when he was 18 using the original birth certificate his mother gave him which listed his birth year as 1973 (so that's what the license states). A couple of years ago, he and I went on a cruise and of course, he needed his birth certificate to board the ship, and his mother gave us a COPY that she obtained from the courthouse, which lists his birth year as 1975. When I questioned his mother, she insists he was born in 1974. In any case, they didn't question him and let him on the ship. Of course, now we'd like to take another vacation next year and we'll need pports by then, but there's the descrepency (sp?) between the two doents. How can we fix this? This morning when I went to feed my rabbit, he was lying down so I thought nothing of it but even when I tickeld him he just lay there with his eyes half shut. So I went back into the house and came out about 1 hour later but he was still lying there I started to get really worried because this is not like him, he is usually so lively and energetic. I took him out of his hutch and put him in my other rabbit's hutch so he could smell his home while he was in the run but he again just lay down. so I put him on top of his hutch and I was going to check him over for any obvious wounds( I found none) but when I was about to put him in he jumped off the hutch and escaped behind some bins and there is no way I can get to him. He is still there now and has been for about an hour and a half. I'm really worried about him. Has anything like this happened to anyone else, if so what was it, why did your bunny keep lying down and not walking much at all? thank you so muchx

Rabbit water bottle, should I get a new one?

Ok I bought a cage for my new bunny and I was checking out the water bottle that came with it. It's really cool cuz you don't have to detach it to refill it, but the spout where the rabbit drinks from is weird. I got a Fender Starcaster Strat Electric (Not hallow body type) and I'm wondering how to fix the 6th string. I was tuning my guitar to play Duality by Slipknot and I had to tune my 6th string to G, when I was tuning I was on dropped F all of sudden it snapped and the guitar string sorta fell apart. I am looking to get a laptop, to give you an idea of what I want, I would like it to be able to run the new Starcraft 2 game and still hold it's own (somewhat) in the future. When I was a young child my parents would leave me here, there, and everywhere while they went to bars almost everynight. Camping - Bring Hay?

I have been camping more than a few times (ARMY & civil.) and I have never heard of buying a bale of hay to lay down on your camp site. Won't that attract rodents/bugs? I am afraid that the whole site is going to go up in a ball of fire (we are having a fire ring) if they put dry hay on the ground. I'm thinking about going to the University of Toronto for college. I'm really debating on wether I should do this or not because I have never been to Canada before and from what I've heard and seen it's just like the United States except the drinking age is lower (18-19) and maybe a few laws are different. But from what I've seen it looks like it's basically the same as the United States. Do they watch the same movies we watch or do they have their own movies? Do they listen to their own music or do they listen to our music? Do they watch the same T.V. shows we watch or do they have their own? Do they have freedom of speech their? Honestly there's only so much you can do from your end. Unfortunately, it sounds like your stepmother has consistently aided and enabled her daughter to the point of destruction. It's not fair to you or your other siblings and until she comes to terms with the fact that her daughter needs help, there isn't much you can do. Dealing with a mental disability (and an apparent drug abuse problem) is way more than you, yourself, can take on alone. If no one else is willing to step up and say it's time to stop baby-ing Hannah then the cycle will be neverending. At this point and time I'd say, "Thanks for the offer on the party, but right now I would much rather worry about celebrating than about so and so's problems." Decline politely and step back. Rehabilitation and family support is the only way this girl will conquer her issues. Good luck!

Can i house train my iguana?

I put a pad on the floor in the bathroom next to her lizard lounge; a cat tree for climbing in & out and her TV at the other end. I also put a large water dish on the pad. Every time she started the pre-poop ritual, I carried her to the pad (sometimes put her front feet in the water) and sat with her until she pooped. She was also an excellent observer of where I used bathroom. After only several weeks she would run down her cat tree and and come to the bathroom,(pause at the door), get on the pad ,poop, & wipe her tail. After this,she never went in her lounge again. I have also been able to house train my second iguana to go on a pad in the base under the lounge (privacy); and my third iguana will only go in the bathtub with warm water running (shower). He has been known to "hold it" all day, until he could get to his tub.

Why won't Jehovah's Witnesses accept blood transfusions, even when their lives are in jeopardy?

Who can guarantee that a blood transfusion WOULD save a persons life? I have heard of many that have died despite having a tranfusion! There are NO guarantees. Besides, if our life WAS saved, because we disobeyed God's command, of what point would it be to continue "living"? We DO accept transfusions, just NOT tranfusions of BLOOD. We accept substitutes, because basically it is the fluid volume that needs to be replaced. We take the best care of ourselves, and we value the hard work of doctors, etc. We just refuse to break one of GOD'S laws. Who are WE to question HIM? My brothers and sisters have given you enough scriptural proof as to what those commands are. Some people just love to try to find fault with those that are only trying to live up to Jehovah's high moral standards.

I was watching Doubt earlier, and other questions pertaining to this do not adequately answer whether it is true or not. Social Service Fraud?

OK so my mom does not work at all, and she does not speak English. My mom went to the hospital to see a friend's grandpa, and told me to call social service to check on why they did not give us food stamp. My mom's cousin pays for all of her bills. Im only 15 years old, and the lady asked me wheres your mother? i said shes at work by accident because im so used to saying that when my mom is not home. Then I said, "no shes at her friends house looking after their kids" and the lady said" oh so shes babysitting?"Then she said " i heard that im going to file a fraud report on you by tommrow" ....so what do I do now????!she said she is going to deny our food stamp and file a fraud for somthing my mom did not even do. My mom was not even at her friend's looking after the kid. She was in the hospital, but i THOUGHT she was... How do I get this to work out? Im so frustrated, how do I explain to the lady that my mom was not in work? it just slipped out of my mouth? Whats going to happen now? Ok, months ago there were a load of Red Cross people trying to talk to people in the street, and when one of them tried to talk to me, i stopped and listened, mostly because i feel sorry for charity workers who always seem to get really rudely dismissed by other people on the street, so i thought i'd do this one a favor by at least giving him the time of day. Of course, i ended up getting guilt-tripped in giving them my contact details, but didn't really mind as i thought i'd just get a whole load of junk mail and that would be that. But today, i got a call from this random woman from the Red Cross. Firstly she guilt tripped the absolute s*** out of me, before then asking for my bank details. I was quite unprepared for all this - after all, i'm an 18 year old student - i work in a cafe! As if i have �20 a month to give! I don't even have �20 spare for me, let alone them! Now, normally i try to be a charitable person, but i simply was very surprised at being asked so directly for money that i know i simply won't be able to afford to give, and so i lied and told her that i was on my break at work and didn't have my bank details on me. This was very unbelievable as it was 6.30 in the evening, and, needless to say, she was not convinced. So, she persisted, and after guilt tripping the hell out of me some more, making me feel as if i'm some sort of evil b**** by reminding me that the call was costing the Red Cross money, we agreed that she would phone me back at 7.30, when i'd have my bank details to hand. This was the second lie - really, i was so mortified, i just turned my phone off for the rest of the evening - i'm still too scared to turn it back on now, in case i get some other Red Cross person hounding me for money that i don't have via guilt tripping. But, the truth is, i still feel really bad about the lies i told, and i just don't think i could face it if i got called again. But what if they just keep on calling? I can't change my number, it's just too much hle, and besides, i'm angry that i've been so guilt-tripped into feeling this way. I think it was understandable for me not to hand over my bank details to someone who, quite frankly, could have been anyone. Also, the guy i talked to on the street mentioned NOTHING about being forced to make monthly donations that i can't afford - all he said was that i could expect to receive more information in the post. I can so totally see now why people cross the street to avoid charity workers. But, am i a bad person??? And how can i get out of it politely?
