Best Point & Shoot Camera for Social Situations?

Canon A-590IS I have 4 camera's and for the money$179 you can't go wrong. Uses AA batteries so buy a charger and 4 batteries. You also will want a larger memory card like 1GB or so. You can leave the store for about $200. It is an ugly camera but takes very good pictures!
