Decorating Dilemma?

I think you would find the polka dot theme both too feminine and too juvenile. Pick a color scheme and theme that can grow with your children so you won't have to do it over in a few years. Keep the theme accents confined to things that can be changed both easily and inexpensively such as lamps, posters, mobiles, and ter rugs. Therefore, if you choose the underwater theme, add a small aquarium, a fish mobile, an octopus area rug, an ecology sea life poster, etc. - all things which can be easily removed when the kids want something different.
